"Are We Alive?"

Ephesians 2:4-5

But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy,

made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in

transgressions--it is by grace you have been saved.

 

 

We are offered a life in Christ that is more awesome than anything we can possibly dream of.  The world cannot and could not ever give anything greater to us than what Christ gives us when we give our lives to Him.  The Apostle Paul gives us a great reminder that we are made alive in Jesus Christ!  However, many of us do not even live each day like we are made alive in Him.

 

How about you?  Do you live like you are alive in Christ or can the world not even see the difference in you? 

 

Do your co-workers see you being made alive in Christ? 

 

Does your spouse see you alive in Christ?

 

Do your children see Christ through you?

 

 

These are just a few questions to ponder as you consider whether your daily life reflects the life of a servant having been made alive in Jesus Christ.  I know my life does not always reflect this life I have in Christ.  I try, but I fail.  We all do. 

 

We are made alive in Christ.  What an awesome blessing that is!  Are we living like we are alive?
