"God Is In Control: Fear Not"

Psalm 27:1

The Lord is my light and my salvation--whom shall I fear?

The Lord is the stronghold of my life--of whom shall I be afraid?

 

 

Fear is something that seems to grab hold of us all at times.  Many things bring fear.  We fear the darkness.  We fear losing our jobs.  We fear losing our homes.  We fear our kids will rebel.  We fear a family member will die from a disease.  These are just some of the fears we have in life. 

 

After a very challenging week, I am reminded that God is in control and we are not.  There are times when we have no idea what is in going on around us and are confused about life.  Decisions are made, people become angry, relationships are broken and divisions are created.  We simply live in a world surrounded by evil.  Satan is at work, but he is NOT in control.  He lost at the Cross!

 

I would encourage you, that whatever you are dealing with this week that might be bringing you fear, ask God for strength.  Ask Him to give you a confidence and strength like never before.  He is our light and our salvation.  We have nothing to fear.  He is the stronghold of our lives.  We should not be afraid of anything with the Lord on our side. 

 

Whatever the situation may be for you, take heart, the Lord is in control and He will bring you through.
