"What Does It Mean To You?"
By: Zach Wood
Matthew 27
I wanted to share a different kind of devotional with
you this week. I usually focus in on one verse or a couple of verses, but
this week, I wanted to focus in on a question and share a chapter with you
from Matthew. I am inviting you to read through this chapter of Matthew about
Jesus' death and resurrection. I encourage you to read the events before and
all the way up to His death and then about His glorious resurrection.
After doing that, I just encourage you to simply ponder
on this question, "What it mean to you?" It's a simple question, but I hope
you take the time to let it sink in. What does the death of Jesus Christ,
your Lord and Savior, mean to you? I hope that you prayerfully consider this
question and just spend some time this week and even next week just focusing
in on this though and question.
Also, along with this devotional, I want to do something
extra I have not done before, but have thought about doing many times. I
would like to really encourage you to share your thoughts, if you choose, back
with me about what Jesus' death and resurrection mean to you. I am always
encouraged to hear from other people and their thoughts on what Jesus' death
means to them. I would love to hear from you if you care to reply to this
devotional and share your thoughts. I would love to hear from your heart and
why His death and resurrection mean so much to you. If you'd like to
share your thoughts, you can use the feedback e-mail on the main page of this
devotional site.
I pray and hope that you all have a wonderful week in
the Lord. I look forward to hopefully hearing from some of you who would like
to share.
God Bless!
